A Typeface Exploration
Exploring Bodoni URW involves delving into its history, usage, commercial art, and cultural significance. Through thorough research, I've dubbed it "The Typeface of Fashion," considering its ubiquitous presence in the industry. Inspired by its association with the Vogue logo, I expanded this theme, drawing parallels to "Vogue" by Madonna. Text excerpts, along with faux graphics, derive from the song's lyrics, weaving a cohesive narrative throughout the 28-page booklet. Influenced by the timeless elegance of luxury fashion brands, I opted for a grayscale palette to accentuate the font's nuances, believing that simplicity never goes out of style.
