During my final semester at Binghamton University, I was asked by the Global Studies department to conduct both a redesign of some of their promotional materials and to create a flyer that will attach study abroad students
Poster Creation
The study abroad office at Binghamton University wasn’t being utilized as an advertising space for the Global Studies Department, even though their main target audience would frequent that space. I was tasked with creating a flyer that would be eye catchy, informative, and appealing to the target audience of prospective students to the Global Studies Minor students. The flyer was printed on 8.5 x 11 inch paper and is meant to draw you in with intriguing copy and a high-contrast design. It encourages the viewer to take action after reading it.
Pamphlet Redesign
The pamphlet given to prospective students of the Global Studies Department at Binghamton University was outdated and in need of a redesign. The pamphlet was redesigned to be a Z-fold pamphlet. It contained all of the updated information. I made sure to have several QR codes in which students could take direct action to sign up for an advising appointment needed to enroll in the minor.
